All Rounder M. Hafeez out of ICC Cricket World Cup 2015


M. Hafeez is a Pakistani right handed spinner bowler. M. Hafeez is a level blow as right-handed opening batsman & a right-arm off-spin bowler.  He is a former captain of Pakistan cricket team. Mohammad Hafeez  has been ruled out of the World Cup 2015 with an  Knee injury. He also missed his bowling action test due to injury. All-rounder Mohammad Hafeez face a race against time to get his action cleared.  Who suffered a calf injury during Pakistan's second one-day international against New Zealand last week. After examining the health condition of Mohammad Hafeez, team doctors advised him to take at least three-week rest.

Whereas on the other hand, team management claimed that Pakistan Cricket Board was continuously being informed regarding his injury. Pakistani left hand Opener Nasir Jamshed will join Pakistan's squad in place of Hafeez. ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 has approved Nasir Jamshed as a replacement player for Mohammad Hafeez in Pakistan's squad for the tournament, which starts on 14 February. Jamshed has scored three ODI centuries in 45 ODIs and will slot into Hafeez's place at the top of the order, although he does not provide the same spin option. Pakistan had already lost fast bowlers Umar Gul and Junaid Khan to injury.
